I've discovered 불짜장면, McDonald's delivery and Bit Torrent. I didn't leave my house for almost three whole days because of the three that I shall dub the "Axis of Evil."
1. 불짜장면 is sinfully, impossibly spicy. I can hold my own when it comes to spicy food -- I love it! But this Fire Jjajangmyun is out of control. It's got insane amounts of jalapenos and peppers to go with the delicious bean paste taste. I just cannot describe how wonderful it is.
2. McDonald's delivers breakfast, lunch and dinner. 'Nuff said.
3. Bit Torrent. Thanks to a friend, I've discovered this great little website to download movies. I'm in a place where I can't get enough of fantasy films. I dread watching romances, I enjoy dramas, but they always include romance, and I don't find too many comedic films appealing. Watching fantasy films really allows me to escape. I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy in two days (although shooting for one sitting) and have enjoyed Lemony Snicket, Nanny McPhee and the Harry Potter films.
I had to drag myself out of my self.made dungeon to begin teaching at winter camp. It's the easiest thing in the world. I meet with my first class from 1:00 to 2:30 and then the second class from 2:45 to 4:15. Then, I'm done. I don't have to be at school till 1:00, so I have the whole morning off (to watch fantasy films) and the evening to play badminton. I'm a spoiled rotten teacher and am enjoying it to the fullest.
People keep asking me what I miss about America. I miss good, hearty American meat. I miss good French wine. I miss American football. I miss people. That's about it.
